About Middle Peninsula Land Trust

The Middle Peninsula Land Trust's site was developed in coordination with Vanguard Web Studios design team who worked to develop a brochure which complimented its updated marketing message in a print format. The site and brochure were rolled out simultaneously for maximum impact.

Just as customer impressions are vitally important, functionality comes in a very close second. The Land Trust has a core group of members who wanted to use the site as a source for meeting information, documents, member contact information and more. A custom member portal was created to allow members to access organizational documentation and information.

Both the form and function of the new site has enabled the Land Trust to more effectively advocate its mission while enabling members to more efficiently access information and stay connected to the group.

Organization efficiency is not always the number one reason that comes to mind when contemplating why an organization decides to establish a web presence. MPRN is another in a long list of Vanguard Web Studios clients who found out that websites aren't just for customers.

MPRN started in their quest for a website as many firms often due, with a general idea that they 'ought to have a website'.

A challenge for any web design firm is to transform this vague idea into a website that is functional and addresses the needs of the business or organization. Vanguard Web Studios uses a unique web design philosophy which, at its core, seeks to understand the specific needs of each client and builds a website around those needs. The end product consistently exceeds the firms expectations.

After going through the project concept phase, VWS learned that organizational advocacy, marketing, and efficiency were the three major objectives for MPRN. Efficiency is something they stumbled upon during this process when they learned of all we could offer on this front.

VWS developed a custom application that helps MPRN manage membership, display member information on dynamic pages, display and manage their board of directors, and store and archive documents and events and meetings.
